In addition to his efforts to empower society, Dionis Rodriguez is a successful businessman and entrepreneur. He is the founder of Crimson Rock Capital, which executes a highly focused, value-oriented investment strategy. He also recently co-founded Sojourner Glamping, a firm focused on fostering wellness and creating connections to families and groups in upscale tented resorts outside major metropolitan areas. Additionally, he founded The Crimson Connection to develop a real estate alumni community across top business schools to enhance collective success.
Dionis spent over 20 years in consulting, real estate investment, and private equity, traveling extensively for business across the US, Europe, and Asia. This experience provided him with key insights into individual, cultural and societal norms, informing his research on human behavior.
Dionis earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University. He proudly serves as Chairman of the Board of Teaching Matters, an educational nonprofit that empowers public school teachers to improve education for underrepresented students. Dionis also serves on the boards of The Harvard Business School Club of New York, The Harvard Club of New York (Vice President), The Guestbook, Shrtlst, and founded the Harvard Business School Real Estate Alumni Association, where he served as it's first President and Chairman of the Board. He is a past Trustee of New York Nativity Centers and currently serves on the Advisory Board of The Cornell Baker Program in Real Estate.
